Provisional License
The Provisional LicenseAs mentioned previously, your first step is to pass the Driver Theory Test. Requirements for obtaining your Provisional License are as follows:-
Your first Provisional License will be valid for two years and if during the term of your second provisional, you haven't passed the Driving Test by then, you will not be issued with a third Provisional License unless you have evidence of having sat a Driving Test! An alternative situation would be evidence of a new Driving Test Appointment. Recent Legislation requires that ALL Drivers carry their license with them at ALL times!! When you have passed your Driving Test it is a good idea to go straight to your local Motor Tax Office and replace your old Provisional License with your New Full Driving License. You will not legally be allowed on a Motorway until you have exchanged the old for the New License.
