Driving Lessons are necessary because quite simply you cannot teach yourself the necessary skills. It is something you learn under controlled conditions with a Professional Instructor in a suitably prepared and meticulously maintained vehicle.

       The Driving Test is not the main reason for taking Driving Lessons!

                          So if not what are the reasons then??

3. Reaching a suitable standard which you will use as a foundation for your Driving Test Preparation.
4. Ability to identify faults in your car through a thorough knowledge of your Instruments.
5. To know exactly what to do in the event of a fault developing.
6. Learn what is required from the Examiner on a Driving Test.
7. Learn advanced techniques that will put you far ahead of the average Learner Driver.
8. Give you the confidence to prepare methodically for your first attempt at the Driving Test.
9. To learn the skills needed to analyse what is going on around you and draw up an immediate plan of action.
10. Learn the correct technique for each of the many Manoeuvres and understand why there is a correct way and an incorrect way to do things when behind the wheel.

Driving Skills are not that difficult to learn or to perfect but they can be challenging for the Learner Driver.  In the traffic situations we have today with more and more vehicles on the road the basic skills are an essential first step and without Driving Lessons these skills will be absent. The absence of basic skills which are evident in Driver behaviour covering all age groups will create many dangerous and financially crippling incidents.

With a skilled Instructor at your side you will confidently learn all the techniques needed to stay safe on the road and will not be put into situations that you cannot yet handle. This is why we need to learn the Basic skills in a controlled environment with the least amount of stress. You will progress much more quickly to a suitable safe Driving Standard with Professional Driving Lessons than by taking any other route.

Driving Lessons in Limerick take place at suitable locations throughout the City and when ready a Pupil is taken onto the Dual Carriageway for High-Speed Training together with a substantial circuit of Rural roads.

Every Driver will need to gain plenty of experience on Dual Carriageways and Rural Roads since these make up an ever increasing amount of your Driving Routine.The fact that in the main these type of roads are not used by the Driving Test Department for Driving Tests does not mean that you should spend all your time on urban roads and built -up areas.This focus on "the Driving Test Routes" will not equip you for everyday driving believe me.
